Ricki’s List of the Best Restaurants and Eateries for Your Health and Wellness
What is the criteria for a restaurant, eatery, or food establishment to get on Ricki’s List of the best for health and wellness? Simple:
healthy and tasty (both) and for an added bonus: beautifully presented (although not essential).
It must offer a variety for the guests with any one or a combination of the following dietary restrictions, sensitivities, and preferences:
- lacto-vegetarian (eats dairy but no eggs),
- vegan (does not eat dairy or eggs),
- organic,
- raw food,
- macrobiotic,
- salt-free
- sugar-free
- gluten-free
- low-fat
- low glycemic
- options without specific allergens whether nuts, peanuts, wheat, soy, or a particular spice or ingredient such as cinnamon, or any other restriction (must be able to prepare dishes to fit anyone’s restrictions)
- anything else missed.
Most of all, the customer service is over the top friendly, where chefs, managers, and waiters accommodate all needs with a smile and go out of their way to provide what the guest needs. If anyone acts as if any dietary need is an imposition and make the customer feel bad for asking, do you think you will provide them a relaxing, restful experience for their health? Treating customers with dietary requests as you want to be treated is the golden rule standard to be featured on this list.
If you are not on this list, it is is either because I am still adding to it, or I don’t know about you. If you feel you offer the criteria listed above for the best restaurant or eatery or food provider for health and wellness, or you know of such a place: email me at: rlinksman@keysleanring.com to see if you can be featured.
