It is no longer hard to find vegetarian and vegan menu items these days with the growth of these healthy diets. It is easier nowadays to find great gourmet vegetarian and vegan meals even at hotels that previously offered not much more than the usual salads and pasta primevera!
If travelling in Orlando, check out the vegetarian offerings at JW Marriott Grande Lakes outdoor cafeterias and indoor Italian restaurants. Four Seasons Orlando accommodates vegetarian and vegan meals as their chefs go above and beyond to ensure organic or locally-sourced ingredients, deliciously prepared and beautifully presented.
If travelling in Whistler, British Columbia, Canada, the Four Seasons Whistler’s chef is passionate about cooking for vegetarian and vegan guests and prepares delicious not-on-the-menu items to accommodate every type of preference. Visit the Olympic Village with many vegetarian and vegan menu items throughout its array of restaurants. (More to come!)
In Chicago, check out the Swissotel that offers the most amazing egg-free ravioli which is hard to find anywhere else! Don’t miss out on the Chicago Diner for all vegetarian meals! (More to come as there are many more I will be writing about!) Love their brunch with eggless pancakes, tofu scramble, vegetarian sausage, vegan mac n’ cheese, and egg-less cakes and pies.
In Vancouver, don’t miss out on vegetarian restaurants such as Naam and Terra Burger’s vegeburgers. (Much more to come!)
Wherever you travel, look up Maggiano’s Little Italy found in many cities which prides itself in going out of its way to prepare the food to your specific dietary needs, from vegetarian to vegan, to salt-free, low-fat, gluten-free, you name it. My favorite–eggless fettucini noodles with garlic and butter sauce or with vegetarian marinara. Their salads are fresh and locally sourced and made to order.
Stay tuned for more delicious vegetarian and vegan culinary journeys, eateries, and food companies!
